TRHofA: In My Opinion (Part 2)

In case you missed it, here’s Part 1 of my breakdown of the ladies on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Sheree Whitfield

What to say about Sheree that hasn’t already been said (Read comments from other readers here)?  I’ll start by playing devil’s advocate a little.  She’s apparently very good to the people that are close to her, leading me to believe that she’s probably not a bad person.  Unfortunately her behavior makes it hard to believe anyone would want to be around her.  Well, maybe unless she was paying them.  I’ve noticed that most of her possee consists of clerks from stores that she frequents.  Some of the employees of Intermix are seen in the show at both her birthday party and DeShawn’s “fundraiser.”  I also saw these girls with her at the premier party.  So, it’s true that she’s popular… just not with high caliber people.  On a side note, these are the same skanks that didn’t give me a gift bag at a party last month.

Sheree has said several things both on camera and off that bother me.  One of the most recent quotes comes from the AJC’s Peach Buzz.  Here is her response when asked about the best part of being on the show: “That we get to inspire others,” said Whitfield, who noted that she gets many positive e-mails from young girls. “If we can do it, so can you,” she said.

Can someone please tell me what she did that inspires other girls to do?? Seriously. She married a professional athlete, started a boutique that failed, and now spends all of her ex’s money.  In addition, she has a less-than-stellar past.  She claims to have come from an upper middle class family, but I find that hard to believe.  A reader recently tipped me off that she was arrested in April 1989 for theft (it was verified through the Cuyahoga County, Ohio Clerk of Courts - http://cpdocket.cp.cuyahogacounty.us/p_CR_CaseSummary.aspx - Search for “Sheree Fuller”). She was arrested AGAIN in May 1989 for the same thing!

Hmm…

NeNe Leakes

I like NeNe. I like NeNe A LOT! I appreciate that’s she’s down to earth, funny, and a loving person.  I believe that she loves her husband and they seem to be true friends to each other. It’s true that she’s not the most polished person, but none of these women really are… they just hide it better than NeNe.

I appreciate her.

  1. What Sheree arrested for theft? I can mos def beieve this. She just seems like the type that would do whatever it takes to keep up with the joneses.

Oh yea, and nene is my favorite also.

  2. Check our Sheree also on the Civil Docket. Someone sued her for a MVA.

She is a piece of work..

  3. i like ne-ne too. i think she funny and down to earth. i kinda dig lisa too, but i love her husband that man is fine. that kim i never thought i see the day, but does she have the worst WEAVE!!!!! the rest of them is trying to hard oh and that mrs.snow next time when giving a fund raiser do your homework. (that poor husband of her’s)

  4. I hardly think an arrest that dates back 20 years ago should even count for something. - Sheree hasn’t had any other run ins with the law since then, right? I think reality T.V. brings out either the DIVA or Monster (both are really the same) in most of us! With that said she actually seems nice as a person maybe a little vain but then again aren’t we all?! And why does everyone think that acting rrude and unrefined is “real” or keeping things “real”. I noticed at the auction Ne-Ne was acting very lady-like which means that all the other scenes of Ne-Ne acting just the opposite..is just an act! She’s not ghetto just loud and obnoxious at times a.k.a. DRAMA QUEEN which makes good T.V. also. Lets face it’s about the bottomline..M-O-N-E-Y. You think BRAVO would’ve ran this show without knowing the potential crowd it could draw based upon the characters/personalities of these ladies?

  5. [...] Posted by lakergirl1 Wow! do you have a link? It’s about the third paragraph down.

  6. The author said it. What is inspiring about marrying a professional athlete and essentially living off his money (while married to him and/or after divorcing him)? What is so inspiring about some hoe having a married sugar daddy? This type of pimp/hoe game is played out daily all over the world. Of all these broads, Lisa and Kim are the only ones with the looks to even attract attention. The reunion show was a drama queen joke. After all this nonsense, NeNe and her husband were evicted from their RENTED HOUSE? How many rich people do you know who RENT a house and get kicked out for owing back rent?? The second season of this make believe wannabe show was already taped. It only gained popularly because a bunch of wannabee broads watch it looking for sugar daddy attracting tips so that they can pimp some professional athlete out of time, children, and money before divorcing them and breaking bread.
