Police Are Ticketing Jay Walkers In Front Of Blake’s

It’s about damn time they started cracking down on jay walkers.  I have mixed feelings about them targeting people leaving a gay bar, especially since there haven’t been any accidents or problems (that I know of).  Now in Buckhead that’s another story.  I see people crossing Peachtree and Piedmont all the time. Millions of dollars were spent to modify intersections to make pedestrians more safe and stupid people still walk into the middle of traffic.  Oh well.

The frustrating thing about this night was that there was a car parked in the crosswalk with someone sitting in it using a laptop.  How am I supposed to use the crosswalk with a car there?!?!  The cop didn’t do anything when I reported it to him.  Useless.  Fucking useless.
